Join us for David Hayes' final year with The Philadelphia Singers as we celebrate with a season full of new commissions, traditional favorites and stunning collaborations. See below for full descriptions of the season's performances; individual tickets can be purchased here, and subscriptions can be purchased here.

1 Christmas with The Philadelphia Singers

The season kicks off in December with everyone's favorite holiday tradition. This year's concert will feature a brass quintet in beautiful pieces such as C.T. Pachelbel's Magnificat and Giovanni Gabrieli's In Eccelsiis. The concert will also feature TPS Jennifer Higdon's composition Deep in the Night. Specifically curated to take

advantage of the beautiful resonance of the Cathedral Basilica, this concert is the quintessential celebration of the season!

2 Myths and Magic: Voice of Storytelling

The highlight of the season, this concert features the paired works of Menotti's The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and The Manticore and the East Coast premiere of Jake Heggie's The Radio Hour. Both works were chosen to explore the concept of the choir as both storyteller and character in tales that detail the fantastical and imaginative through music. The Radio Hour is a truly unique blended art form that includes a choir, one silent actor/dancer, and a small instrumental ensemble.
